Welcome to the Gouge Chipping web site. - I started developing the Gouge Chip Carving technique in 1997 and went public in 2002. - Gouge Chipping is quick and easy to learn. - The cuts are simple - a vertical cut and the removal of a chip from the convex side of the vertical cut. - The only tools used are four gouges. - There are five design forms - flowers, vines, diamonds & hexagons, snowflakes and pinwheels. - Actual designs combine one or more of the forms.
